How to create a brand with AI without it turning generic

AI writes and designs in minutes, but it returns what you give it. The five decisions to make before your first prompt so your brand sounds like you.

You can create a brand with AI. It writes copy, proposes imagery and generates logos in minutes. What decides whether the result looks like you or like everyone else is what you hand it before asking for anything.

Why AI keeps returning the same thing

An AI model works with what is most probable. Ask it for copy for your wellness sessions without giving it anything of yours and it answers with what has been said a thousand times: “transform your life”, “made with love”, “your path to wellbeing”. That is why so many AI-made brands look alike.

The tool works well. What is missing is what only you have: judgment about who you are and what you promise.

Five decisions before the first prompt

  1. Who you are. The archetypes that rule your brand: your Primary, your Supporting and your Differentiating. If you do not know them yet, the archetype quiz is free and takes about six minutes.
  2. What you promise. Your purpose, your mission and the transformation that happens in the people who work with you.
  3. Who you speak to. An ideal client described precisely, with their moment in life and what they are looking for.
  4. How you sound. Three or four traits of voice, the words you do use and the ones you would never use.
  5. What you refuse. The limits of your brand. A brand without limits reads like a wish list.

These five decisions fit on one page. That page is your raw material.

How to bring them to the AI

Write the five decisions in a document and paste it at the start of every conversation with the AI, before asking for any task. That way every text, every description and every image idea starts from your brand and not from a template.

A simple structure:

  • Who my brand is and who it speaks to.
  • My archetypes and what they mean for my communication.
  • My voice, with examples of phrases that fit and phrases that do not.
  • Today’s specific task.

What you ask for and what you decide

AI executes: captions, emails, product descriptions, drafts of long texts, image ideas. You direct and review. One question is enough to filter: would my brand say this out loud, in front of my ideal client? If the answer is no, go back to your document, adjust the instruction and ask again.

Order matters

Decisions first, then AI, then review. Anyone who starts with the last step ends up with loose pieces that never feel like theirs.

The Brandifesting Blueprint walks that order at your own pace: the stages of the Brandifesting™ method, your archetype reading and The Clarity Codex, a prompt system calibrated with your decisions. If you would rather explore first, start with the 12 brand archetypes, a free toolkit for each one.
